Privacy policy
How we handle personal information.
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This policy explains how Insightmere ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit www.insightmere.co.uk or contact us.
Who we are
Insightmere Ltd is a UK-based Power BI consultancy, registered in England and Wales (company number 17501769). For any question about this policy or your personal information, contact info@insightmere.co.uk.
What we collect
- Information you send through our contact form: your name, organisation, email address, area of interest and message.
- Emails you send us and our replies.
- Basic technical information our hosting provider records when you visit the site, such as IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out a review or project you ask for, and keep records of our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the website and our email: Netlify (website hosting), FormSubmit (contact form delivery), Zoho (email) and Google Fonts (website fonts). Some providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and keep proper business records. If it becomes part of a client engagement, it is kept for the period required for that contract and our legal obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@insightmere.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Client data in projects
When we work with your organisation's data during a project, we normally act as a data processor under a written agreement with you. That agreement, not this policy, governs how project data is handled.
