Sixteen separate Excel compliance registers, 418 different item names and placeholder dates hiding missing records. We built one Power BI model and an interactive dashboard showing compliance by site, category and risk.

UK GDPR
We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR and can work under a data processing agreement where we act as your processor.
Your Microsoft environment
Wherever possible we build inside your own Microsoft 365 and Power BI tenant, so data does not leave your environment.
Least-privilege access
We ask only for the access a project needs, for as long as it needs it, and you control and revoke it.
Multi-factor authentication
We expect MFA on every account used to access client systems, including our own.
Secure credentials
Passwords and connection details are never sent by email or stored in reports. Data source credentials stay with you.
Confidentiality and documentation
Client data and reports are confidential. Access, data sources and security settings are documented at handover.

Do we need Power BI licences before we start?
No. We will advise which licences you need, if any, based on how many people will build and view reports. Many organisations already have some Power BI access through Microsoft 365.
Our data is messy. Is that a problem?
That is the normal starting point. Cleaning and shaping data is a core part of every engagement, and we tell you early about any gaps that affect what the reports can show.
How long does it take to get a first report?
A single dashboard from existing data usually takes two to three weeks. A full implementation with a shared data model typically takes four to six weeks.
Is Power BI always the right answer?
No. Part of the free review is an honest view on whether Power BI suits your situation. If a simpler fix in Excel or your existing system would do the job, we will tell you.
Can you work with our IT team?
Yes. We work alongside internal IT and finance teams, and we document everything so your staff can maintain the solution.
What happens after the project ends?
You own the reports, model and documentation. If you want ongoing help, the Insight Partner retainer covers changes, new reports and monitoring.
